Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Science
Making the most of its privileged location, the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Science covers a large surface area and comfortably accommodates more than 2,000 students from diverse backgrounds each year, as it has done for over 150 years.
The Faculty teaches pharmacy and food science and technology, focusing particularly on the application of these subjects in health care, and in the pharmaceutical and food sectors. Consequently, the Faculty has close ties with local government bodies, professional associations, pharmaceutical companies and other organizations, bringing students’ educational experience closer to the real world and helping them launch successful careers.
Scientific research is also a crucial activity at the Faculty, with numerous research projects of either a basic or fully applied nature regularly being carried out in its laboratories.
